The Action Alliance for Sustainable Bananas (ABNB) invited for an Open Meeting on 5.12.2019 in Berlin at which the members of ABNB and interested Stakeholders participated. The keynote speeches in the morning by Mr. Victor Prada of the World Banana Forum and Mr. Alistair Smith of Banana Link as well as comprehensive input from other participants created a good basis for the working sessions in the afternoon. The discussions were on cooperation mechanisms in the banana sector and how challenges can be met sustainably and jointly.
